Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
Please provide all correspondence between The Treasury and Transpower NZ
Ltd (including, but not limited to, communications with the Chief
Executive, GM People, General Counsel & Company Secretary, Head of Health
and Safety, and Senior Principal Engineer) involving any and all matters
pertaining to or associated with the subject of COVID-19 during the period
from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2022.
Your request is broad in scope and is likely to require a lengthy
extension as substantial manual collation would be required to provide the
information requested.
As such, I would like to suggest refining your request to include more
specificity on the kind of information being requested. I recommend
refining your request, for example by requesting: "... specific matters
pertaining to the subject of COVID-19 such as

period from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2022".
Please confirm via return E-mail whether you would be happy with the
suggested refinement and the specific matters you are seeking information
on.
Please note that once you have amended or clarified your request, under
section 15(1AA) of the Official Information Act, the Treasury may treat
your amended or clarified request as a new request that replaces the
original request. This may lead to a new start of the statutory response
period.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding the refinement of your
request by midday 27 June 2025.
