From: Richard Shaw

Dear University of Auckland,

Kia ora,

I am requesting the following information under the Official Information Act regarding fitness to practise (FTP) numbers for students in the MBChB program:

[1] The number of formal Fitness to Practise (FTP) referrals made each year.

[2] A breakdown of referrals by category:
 a. Extraordinary concern
 b. Critical concern
 c. Non-critical concern

The FTP procedures identifies 3 areas of concerns namely Health or personal issues; Professional attitudes and behaviours; and Issues external to the programme. I would therefore like to request:

[4] The number of FTP referrals involving professional attitudes and behaviours.

[5] The number of FTP referrals involving issues external to the programme.

I would like to request yearly data from 2019 to 2024 (inclusive), preferably provided in an Excel spreadsheet.

Thank you for your time and effort.

Yours faithfully,
