Waterloo Reserve Development (Milldale)

 

Dear Auckland Council,

I am writing to request further information regarding the development of
the new Waterloo Reserve in Milldale, currently marked with the Auckland
Council sign “Waterloo Reserve Development – Stage 1.”

The signage appears to incorporate the original plan previously shared by
the developer, Fulton Hogan, on the Milldale website. I have attached a
reference image of that plan here:

Could you please confirm:

1. The specific facilities being delivered in Stage 1 and what is planned
for future stages;
2. Whether there have been any changes or deviations from the original
plans shared by the developer, particularly regarding the inclusion of
toilet facilities.

The original plan outlines the following proposed features:

* Playgrounds and pump track
* Basketball half court with youth spill-out area
* Sheltered seating and social spaces
* Open flexible grassed areas
* Sculptured grassed mounds
* Boardwalk crossing
* Toilet facilities

Your assistance in clarifying what the community can expect would be
greatly appreciated.
