I refer to your Official Information request of 7 April 2025, regarding
Kauae Urupa, specifically:

 1. Plot Numbers Map
 2. Plot names Map

 

A plot map is available on Rotorua Lakes Council website [1]HERE.

You can also use this site to search within the Urupa using name, plot,
section and other Urupa in and around Rotorua.

 

Refer to the below screen shots for the process.

 

At the below prompt TICK in the ‘I accept box’ and then click on CONTINUE.

 

At the bottom of the screen, click on the dropbox arrow under CEMETERIES

 

Click on KAUAE , or the applicable Urupa you wish to search.

 

You can then either select the search engine by NAME search or by Plot
Search.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

 

If searching by NAME, enter in the SURNAME first and wait for a list of
possible names that match to come up and then select the appropriate
person and then click on SEARCH.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
