Dear Birkenhead College,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the profit or loss, if any, that the college makes per item on the following uniform pieces:
1. Birkenhead College Year 12 & 13 Senior S/S Shirt
2. Birkenhead College Year 12 & 13 Senior S/S Blouse
(both can be found on the following website: theuniformshoppe.co.nz)
If the profit or loss varies by size, please use the Large size (L) for item Senior S/S Shirt (1.) and size 16 for the Senior S/S Blouse (2.) as a reference.
As this is an Official Information Act request, the college is legally required to respond within 20 working days, unless a valid exemption applies.

Thank you for your email.
Birkenhead College do not sell school uniform, there is no profit or loss in terms of uniform supplies. Our stockist/supplier sells our uniform. If uniform is donated back to the school, we will charge a small sum for cleaning and mending before passing to students who are experiencing financial hardship.
