Dear Richmond Road School,

What is the EXACT amount of funding that will be provided by the school to pay the cost of this years Kapa Haka Primary Schools Nationals competition in Palmerston North, in November?
This is the first time Richmond Road School has had a group represent at National level.

Due to the location of the National competition it will be expensive. Requiring transportation and a weeks accommodation and food, for children and parents. Last year The Board of Trustees barred requests for fundraising and so we have been put in the position where only limited fundraising can occur. Therefore given the $6000+ dollars given to the Principal for his trip to spain, I would expect the school's contribution to Kapa Haka Nationals to reflect the volume of persons involved.
