I refer to your Official Information Act request (OIA) of 30 June 2023
where you asked for:

 

The PM is being accompanied to China by the winning Te Matatini Kapa Haka
group. Under the OIA please provide the following information.

•            The total number of performers/support staff and people
associated with the group travelling?

•            Total travel costs/ budget for the group - accommodation,
food and beverage, per diems and any other associated costs.

•            Itinerary of the group - where and when the performances are
taking place?

•            Which government department is covering the costs?

 

This email is to advise that the timeframe for responding to your request
is being extended by 25 working days, to 4 September 2023. This is because
consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a
proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time frame,
section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA refers.

 

However, if this process is completed before 4 September 2023, the
response will be sent to you as soon as possible.

 

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
