Further Information On Bicycle & Scooter Thefts
Rhys made this Official Information request to Paraparaumu College
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Rhys to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Rhys
Dear Paraparaumu College,
I wish to request further information on your reply to my OIA dated 28th July.
1. You mentioned 11 bikes/scooters were stolen between 1st January 2020 and the date of the request. I've heard of 2 further thefts (1 x mountain bike, 1 x scooter) since that OIA request was made and today. Is this correct?
2. If answer to 1, please provide full details of the dates, times and make/model of bike/scooter stolen and who contacted the school to report this (parent or police).
3. Please provide full details, dates, times, make/model and other data held on the other 11 thefts as reported by school in my previous OIA request.
4. Official bicycle theft data available from NZ Police suggests the highest number of thefts in our community are from educational providers. Does the school have any comment to reassure parents that the issue is being addressed?
5. Please provide a sample of the signs at the school reminding students to park their bicycles/scooters at their own risk.
Yours faithfully,
Rhys
