Statistics for remanded inmates, who are not convicted

J Hudson made this Official Information request to Department of Corrections

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for J Hudson to read recent responses and update the status.

From: J Hudson

Dear Department of Corrections,

I would like to know how many people are incarcerated on remand because their bail was revoked by a judge, only to have the case dismissed with no charges.

This could include:
Judge alone trails where the remanded inmate is dismissed of all charges and released.

Jury trials where the remanded inmate is dismissed of all charges by a jury of their peers and released.

Yours faithfully,

J Hudson
