Dear Ministry for the Environment,
Please could you provide me with the following information:
1. How does the Ministry view the current state of littering in NZ?
2. Does the Ministry work with the Transport Agency to ensure it is meeting it's obligations under the Litter Act 1979 to keep roadsides clear of litter?
3. If the answer to question 2 is YES, how does the Ministry ensure the Transport Agency is doing this job to the required standard.
