Please provide a list of all the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras that have been installed, please include the date of installation, location and the total number of operating ANPR cameras as of 12/4/2024.

On 12 April 2024, you requested the following information, under the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):
Please provide a list of all the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
cameras that have been installed, please include the date of installation,
location and the total number of operating ANPR cameras as of 12/4/2024.
Currently, there are a total of 45 automated licence plate recognition
CCTV devices operating. Of these, 17 are utilised for enforcement
purposes, and 28 are for crime prevention purposes and operated by the New
Zealand Police.
