Dear Fire and Emergency New Zealand,

Does Fire and Emergency still have existing MAN type 3 Cab/chassis that are yet to have bodies built and fitted and be placed on front-line response? If so what is their progress given FENZs aging type 3 fleet?

How many of these trucks are to be built?

What has caused the delay?

Will these be built and deployed before or at the same time as the UK-built New Generation type 3 appliances that are currently in trial are rolled out as type 3s.

Will the bodies be built in NZ by an NZ manufacturer?

Have FENZ provided the NZ Defence Force MAN type 3 appliances also?
