I refer to your request of 29 January 2024 for

 1. a copy of Councils Health and Safety Plan and Risk Management Plan for
the use of herbicides in public areas, and
 2. copies of Council's contracts for the roadside management programmes
that includes the use of herbicides.

Your request was referred to council’s Roading Department for
consideration and the answers to each of your questions is as follows:

 1. Council undertakes roadside spraying of the road berms within its Road
Maintenance contracts. The Contractor provides a Health & Safety and
Risk Management Plan with their tender for the works covered in the
spraying operations a copy of which is attached.
 2. A copy of the contract specification for Roadside Vegetation Spraying
activity which is part of the Road maintenance contract is also
attached .

 

The documentation attached represents our best efforts to locate material
relevant to your request. However, the search process is by no means an

that have been unintentionally missed in the search.
