I refer to your request to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, dated 30
November 2023, requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

May I ask from 1st Jan 2021 to 30 Nov 2023, how many kiwibuild projects
you have approved, please provide the list of name and address for these
approved projects.

 

Also, please provide how many applications you have received during this
period of time and how many you have declined.

 

As of today, how many has been lodged and still with you for assessment.

 

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request by 19
January 2024 at the latest, being 20 working days after the day on which
the request was received by Kāinga Ora in accordance with section 15(1) of
the Act.

 

Please note that in accordance with Act and guidance provided by the
Office of the Ombudsman, this timeframe includes the summer holiday period
from 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024.

 

If an extension of time is required to make a decision you will be
notified prior to that date in accordance with section 15A of the Act.

 

We may also contact you if further clarification or refinement of your
request is required to enable a decision to be made.
