Category (SMC) visa applications received from offshore starting from 11
November 2022 draw.

 

1) As of today, I only see the monthly view of applications received /
allocated. Can I get the detailed view like the date / week of the
applications received and applications allocated to officers?

 

2) Also, for future updates can you include information like  number of
approved / declined applications per day / week basis ?

 

3) Also, the list doesn't differentiate on the category and
onshore/offshore applications. Can you provide this information and for
future updates?

Ex: onshore / offshore applications received / allocated / approved list
on  a day / week basis”

I am writing to advise you that MBIE has decided to extend the time
available to respond to your request under section 15A(1)(a) of the Act as
the request necessitates a search through a large quantity of information,
and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the
operations of the department. As such a proper response to the request
cannot be made within the original time limit.

 

MBIE’s response will be sent to you no later than 13 July 2023. However,
we will respond to you sooner if we are able to.

 

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. Information
