Please find attached a breakdown showing the asset type used by different
recreation and sporting groups per Local Board area.

 

The ‘Sum of Facilities Area’ confirms the total amount of each sport
related activity by Local Board.    The ‘Sum of Parks Area’ confirms the
total area of the Parks that have that sport related activity.  To
calculate the percentage of the sports facilities, it will be % 0f
Facilities area/ Parks Area.

 

Please allow a margin of error as not all data recorded had an assigned
asset group or recreation/sport recorded against it and whilst we have
captured as much information as possible there may be recreation areas not
maintained by Auckland Council therefore not included in our data.
