    Dear Auckland Council,
I’m writing on behalf of East Skate Club Incorporated] to request information relating to Auckland Council’s recent and planned investment in playgrounds and skate facilities in the Auckland Region area.
We are currently working on a proposal to support youth-focused recreation infrastructure in the local community, and it would be helpful to understand:
1) Total investment over the past 5 years in skateparks
2) total investment over the past 5 years in playgrounds
3)Current or planned projects involving playground or skate facility upgrades/new builds.
4) The standard budget range or cost estimate benchmarks used by Auckland Council when scoping such projects.
5)Whether there is any investment forecast or prioritisation strategy for future community play and skate infrastructure.
Can these be broken down local board, by local board, or however is easiest to display the data
We’re passionate about building positive spaces for youth and would love to contribute to the conversation around equitable investment in active recreation.
Ngā mihi nui,
Aaron martin
