Birkdale road footpath upgrade

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Auckland Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Auckland Council,

I was told by the contractors that this project was a Auckland council project, if not please transfer me to who was. Can I get answers to these questions under the information act.

How much did it cost to upgrade the footpath? Such as traffi management & an itemised list of what the cost were.

Why was the footpath upgraded, where there complaints of the footpath?

Why was not more of the footpath upgraded? There were cracked ones that were left.

Why was there no mention of this online? Were the residents sent letters explaining what was happening?

I refer to your email, which we received on 23 June 2023, requesting
information about Birkdale road footpath upgrade.

 

I can advise that in accordance with section 12 of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) we have transferred
your request to Auckland Transport to respond. This is because the
requested information is believed to be more closely aligned with the
functions of Auckland Transport.

your request
