Fire and Emergency New Zealand,

I am submitting a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain an updated list of station and appliance ANI sequences for Sellcalling. I am requesting the updated list for all of New Zealand, including all trucks and station UHF radios

I require this information to update my database, as my current records are outdated. Attached below is an example of the ANI sequence used by communications to identify the appliance sending K-Codes.

Although in the past we have provided information without evidence that you are entitled to make an OIA, on this occasion we are requesting the evidence. The image you provided does not provide sufficient evidence.

There are two reasons we are taking this approach:
1. This request is for information that we consider may need to be withheld. If that is our decision, a person requesting it under the OIA would have the right to complain to the Ombudsman. At this stage, we are not satisfied that you are entitled to make a request under the OIA, and therefore to make a complaint.
2. There is no way for us to know whether this is your passport or not.
