Thank you for your email, received on 01.06.2023. You requested the
following information, under the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

 

“I request copies of correspondence including emails and texts between the
mayor and council's traffic and roading staff pertaining to the temporary
cycle way on Park Terrace, starting from at least January 1st 2023”.

 

Please find below a response to your LGOIMA request.

 

On April 17, 2023, the Mayor texted Lynette Ellis (Head of Transport &
Waste Management) the following message (see below). Accordingly, Lynette
sent a memo to all councillors with the pertinent information instead of
responding to the message.

 

“Hi, can you please tell me what all the traffic management is for in park
Tce. And rolleston ave is for and why it needs to be so long and
disruptive?”.

 

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review our
decision. Complaints can be sent by email to
