Subject: Official Information request - WINZ

 

Dear Ministry of Social Development,

 

Requestor requests for information relating to any policies of WINZ & MSD
relating to the superannuation;

 

Is it true or not true that a 65 year old, must now wait 10 years, to
become entitled to apply for superannuation, if so, requestor requests for
a copy of that policy;

 

According to the [cf] [Superannuation and retirement income act 2001, part
1, section 7; it states age qualification is 65 years;

 

Also if an applicant is a permanent resident in New Zealand;and has been
residing in NZ for 20 years, is this applicant entitled to superannuation;
