Dear Ministry of Education,
I am seeking the following data under the OIA.
1) Attendance data prior to 2011. I have the data on the Education Counts website from Term 2 of 2011 onwards. If you have any data for the years 2007 to 2010, I would like the national proportion of students attending more than 90% of the time, between 80% and 90%, between 70% and 80% and under 70%.
2) The overall attainment rate of NCEA Level 1 amongst Year 11 students from 2007 to 2022.
3) The overall attainment rate of NCEA Level 2 amongst Year 12 students from 2007 to 2022.
4) The overall attainment rate of NCEA Level 3 amongst Year 13 students from 2007 to 2022.
5) The overall attainment rate of University Entrance amongst Year 13 students from 2007 to 2022.

On 18 April 2023, the Ministry transferred questions 2 to 5 of your
request to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) as it was
determined that this information is more closely connected with the
functions of this agency.
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982

Regarding the first question, there is a single survey in scope of your
request for the period 2007-2010, that was completed in 2009 and published
