Dear Ministry of Education,
Please provide the school-level outcome data for the Common Assessment Activities associated with the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co requisite standards for the 2024 and 2025 calendar years. I am requesting this in spreadsheet or machine readable form. I am not seeking names of individual students or any personal identifying information and accept standard statistical suppression where necessary to manage re identification risk.
If you do not release this, then provide the suppression rules, cohort thresholds, statistical tests and privacy criteria used to determine whether school level Common Assessment Activity data for the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co requisite standards can be released publicly, including any methodology documents or policy settings that guide these decisions. Please ensure that this is in Plain English.
Further more, if you decline to release this, please provide all policy papers, internal briefings, emails containing final advice, and decision records created since 1 January 2023 that relate to the public release or non release of school level Common Assessment Activity data for the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co requisite standards.
