NCEA Panels: Giving a broad range of stakeholders - OIA Act

john luke made this Official Information request to New Zealand Qualifications Authority

The request was successful.

From: john luke

Dear New Zealand Qualifications Authority,

I noted on your website,

https://conversation.education.govt.nz/c...

"The NCEA Panels have been established to represent Maori, Pacific people, students with disabilities or learning support needs and Pathways (which will look into how students can progress through NCEA and develop clear pathways to higher education, training or employment). Each Panel comprises eight members. In selecting Panel members, the Ministry ensured a balance of members with experience from the secondary sector, the tertiary sector, industry and employers."

Can you please provide the name and bio of each members from each of these panels and their term of appointment. Also the term of reference of each panel, any minutes they have so far, what is their pay rate and what benefit they getting. Further, how you call for expression of interest and how you select them to the panel.

Yours faithfully,

john luke
