Ticketing change before National Ticketing Solution
Felix Lee made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
The request was successful.
From: Felix Lee
Dear Auckland Transport,
I would like to make an LGOIMA request regarding any ticketing changes that are planned to happen before National Ticketing Solution is implemented.
I understand NTS will be implemented in 2026. I would like to know what plans AT has regarding ticketing technology before then.
For example: paywave, virtual HOP card, QR codes on bus/ferry, direct mobile top up of HOP cards, etc.
Please give me any documents you have that discusses the above.
Thank you for your help
Yours faithfully,
Felix
