What is the “capacity” of the area and how was the attendance measured against the capacity.

The information police have provided is incorrect. Wendy states that the Stuff article was wrong about being people turned away.
According to the statement police issued on the day, "people are being turned away".
Cheers, from a Stuff journalist who doesn't appreciate police producing misinformation that make journalists look bad.
