Tēnā koe Scott,

I am writing concerning your OIA request below. This email is to advise
that we will need to extend the time limit for responding to your request
by 30 working days, to 7 February 2023. This is because consultations
necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper
response cannot reasonably be made within the original time frame (section
15A(1)(b) of the OIA refers).

I anticipate that this request will be responded to in multiple tranches.
The first of which will contain the majority of the papers you requested,
and will be ready in time for the original 20 working day timeframe. The
remainder will be provided at a later date no later than 7 February 2023.

If this process is completed before 7 February 2023, the response will be
sent to you as soon as possible.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision by contacting www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800
802 602.

Eva

briefings (OIA66)

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision by contacting [8]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone
0800 802 602.

Kind regards,

Eva
