Kia ora John

As your current request stands it would take more than a few hours to pull the information that you require and is likely to be considered substantial collation, risking refusal. We are therefore asking if there is any specific information you are requesting, or are you able to refine the scope of your request please.

We look forward to your response

Kia ora Vi Saena,

I was aware the performance of DIA was inferior than other government departments, but making it visible to all the users of this website is a surprise to me. What have happened to the department? As a taxpayer I feel sad.

Moreover, what is interesting is that MBIE did provide an answer to the requester when receiving a similar request. Please see the link: https://fyi.org.nz/request/20228-informa...

Could you please let me know why MBIE can provide an answer and DIA can’t?

In order to facilitate, I will scope my request similar to the one accepted and replied by MBIE:

“copies of the most recent assessment templates and training materials for Citizenship Officers to follow when assessing the current Citizenship by Grant applications”

Hope this is helpful.

Yours sincerely,

John
