This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.
From: Alex Harris
Dear Hutt District Health Board,
I would like to request the following information under the OIA:
* What guidelines are provided to staff on the provision of interpreting and translation services to patients? I would like a copy of whatever documents or training materials are provided to staff, as well as any updated guidance issued in the last six months.
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris

Dear Hutt District Health Board,
According to the online calculator, a response to this request was due on October 24. Will I be receiving one soon, or do I need to go to the Ombudsman?
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris

I'm not certain where our email address originally came from (it's not on their site or domain records now anyway). The mailbox seems to be a black hole.
Since we've never received a response from them, I have changed the authority address to that of the CEO.
Alex would you like me to re-send your original request email to the CEO address, or (as it is now quite old) perhaps you would like to submit a new one.

One look at the website of the Hutt District Health Board explains why all of these requests are "long overdue". The fact that the FYI contact email address is "webmaster@" is concerning just for a start. The site is unbelievably unprofessional.
I could certainly tell you a thing or two about their interpreting and translation habits.
