Dear Arthur

I refer to your e-mail of 1 March 2022 requesting information relating to
the Central City Plan Retail Quarter Detailed Business Case.  Please
accept our apologies for the delay in responding to your request.

You have requested the following information:

1. The George St Retail Precinct DBC that was discussed at this council
meeting:

Below is a link to the detailed Business Case – this was included in the
agenda you refer to in your email of 1 March 2022.

2. Latest designs for this project, including drafts issued to DCC between
Dec 1st 2021 and Mar 1st 2022

The first draft of the business case is available in the above link, since
then the business case has had continual minor adjustments.   Provision of
these  drafts is declined pursuant to section f(i) of LGOIMA to maintain
the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank
expression of opinions by or between or to members or officers or
employees of any local authorities. 

In regards to the latest designs pursuant to section 17(d) of LGOIMA in
that the information will soon be publicly available, this request is
declined.  The document will be considered at a Council meeting in April
and will be available on the Council website.

As we have declined to provide some information you are advised that you
have the right to seek a review of this decision by the Office of the
Ombudsman.
