Dear Department of Conservation,
May I please request under the Official Information Act 1982:
1. A breakdown of all reports received by DOC regarding drone use and the outcome of investigation conducted by DOC for each case (warning, infringement (incl. the amount in $), prosecution, etc) for the last 2 years. Please provide this in excel format.
2. Copies of any internal documents or legal framework used by DOC staff in determining the penalty for offences to ensure it is fair and proportionate.
3. With regard to the monetary fees collected by DOC, please explain where this money is going towards.
For clarity, I don’t need any personal information that would identify any offenders.
