Dear Auckland Council,
I believe this request is with council .. It was the council whom signed off a permitted activity and a certificate of compliance to Matuku Trust , to Ariel spray the Te Henga wetlands, This documentation states that Matuku are to present a yearly detailed report on the spraying of the wetlands.
This information should be relevant to council, not doc whom paid them over half a million to fund the spraying . It is council that would hold the spraying information being the ones whom supplied the permits and compliance certificates .
It is a biodiversity focus area that is protected with critically endangered species. This footage of the drone spraying a fragile protected environment is a must . And we would request the details above again
Yours faithfully,
Levonne Scott

Dear Auckland Council,
This answer is from DOC who have stated they do not have the drone footage as they just funded the project …
It is COUNCIL that should have the footage of this drone spraying , it is council that signed off a permitted activity for this drone to be used over a biodiversity focus area , spraying glyphosate across the whole wet land and we are requesting the council footage of the drone spraying over a protected wetland.
This is a council matter not a doc matter and we would like an answer from council
Yours faithfully,
Levonne Scott

13 June 2025 - update on vital data for government regulators, policy makers and the general public.
A European Commission spokesperson has confirmed that the EU executive has stated that European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) will be formally tasked with assessing whether the peer-reviewed findings of a new international study showing that glyphosate causes six of the most common cancers affect the current risk assessment of glyphosate.
“If ECHA or EFSA would confirm that glyphosate no longer meets the approval criteria or that the conditions of approval must be amended, the Commission will act immediately to amend or withdraw the approval,” the EC spokesperson stated.
The Global Glyphosate Study is the most comprehensive toxicological study ever conducted on glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides. It aims to provide vital data for government regulators, policy makers and the general public. The study is examining the impacts of glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides on carcinogenicity, neuro-developmental toxicity, multi-generational effects, organ toxicity, endocrine disruption and prenatal developmental toxicity.
“This robust study, based on a protocol encompassing pre- and post-natal development, fulfils the need for sound scientific evidence on the toxicology of glyphosate. The results highlight the tumorigenic potential of glyphosate and glyphosate-based products at dose levels considered as “safe”. This new evidence has to be carefully considered by the regulatory authorities globally,” added Dr. Alberto Mantovani, study co-author and member of the Italian National Food Safety Committee (CNSA)
