information, under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987

Part of the information you have requested is attached. However, we have decided to
refuse your request for information which relates to the rent amounts under the
following sections of the LGOIMA:

o 7(2)(b)(ii) – to protect the commercial position of the person who supplied or
who is the subject of the information
o 7(2)(h) – to enable any local authority holding the information to carry out
commercial activities
o 7(2)(i) – to enable any local authority holding the information to carry on
negotiations

 

You will note a small amount of the information has been redacted. This has been
withheld under the following section of the LGOIMA: 

* 7(2)(a) – to protect the privacy of natural persons

 

In the Council's view the reasons for withholding these details are not outweighed by
public interest considerations in section 7(1) favouring their release.

 

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review our decision.
