Dear AT Official Information (AT),
Can you check the price that you quoted for the removal of the parking indents at The Avenue, Lynfield undertaken a couple of years ago, as there is no way that work would have only cost $25,000, it took weeks.
Please advise by return email
Yours sincerely,
Glenn Barratt

Dear Glenn,
The team working on this project have provided some additional context
surrounding the figures provided:
The cost to remove the indented bus bay was $24,365.63. At the same time,
a further $198,016.54 was spent to:
o improve bus tracking for buses U-turning at the Reserve Access
o close off the gap in the median island closer to Hillsborough Road
o install new pram crossings and island cut-through. This required a
street light column to be shifted
All of the works listed in the bullet points above still exist and are
part of the current street environment.
The current project which includes additional space, safety improvements
and an extension of the former recessed bus bay has a contract value of
$252,259.00, with outturn cost to be confirmed, as work is ongoing.
I do trust this answers your follow up question.
This case is now closed.

Glen l LGOIMA Business Partner
