From: Liz Simons

Dear Archives New Zealand Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga,

I request under the official information act the following information:

When did "Aotearoa" first get used instead of "Nu Tireni" in official acts or documents in Te Reo to refer to all of New Zealand (not just the North Island) and who was the first person to do so.

When did the Te Reo translation of our national anthem first use "Aotearoa" instead of "Nu Tireni" and who first did this.

Yours faithfully,

Liz Simons
