Hi Adam,

 

The applicant (Auckland Transport) didn’t apply for any car parks for this
development.

 

The operative plan at the time (Auckland Council District Plan) didn’t
require any parking, and only provided for a maximum number of car parks
in the event that on-site parking was proposed.

Hi again Adam,

If on-site parking was now proposed the consent holder would need to apply to vary the conditions of the existing consent or apply for a new consent. The maximum number of on-site car parks would be determined under the provisions of the Auckland Unitary Plan (operative in part), as set out in Table E27.6.2.1 Maximum parking rates for the Business- City Centre Zone.
