Data on performance at ncea level 2

Mr ED Hirsche made this Official Information request to Ministry of Education

The request was successful.

From: Mr ED Hirsche

Dear Ministry of Education,

This is an OIA request.

Please can you share the raw data used to create the graph at the bottom of this page. Namely: % pass at level 2 (or better) at individual school level. I can find summary statistics online - but not school level data

Please note: I would like the data you provide me to include the name of the school, as well as their enrolment and decile.

https://www.educationcounts.govt.nz/indi...

This graph is for 2019. Ideally - please also provide me with data for 2020 and the last 5 years previously.

Appreciate it if you could provide this data in excel format.

Yours faithfully,

Mr ED Hirsch

Ministry of Education

Good Morning ED

Thank you for your email of 20 April 2021 to the Ministry of Education
requesting the following information:

* Please can you share the raw data used to create the graph at the
bottom of this page. Namely: % pass at level 2 (or better) at
individual school level.
* Please also provide me with data for 2020 and the last 5 years
previously.

Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act).

We would like to invite you to clarify a few points of your request to
assist us in providing you a more meaningful response.

Currently the data for 2020 will not be available until the end of June
2021 as our team work on finalising the information so we would likely
refuse the data for 2020.
Would you instead like to amend your request for data from 2015 to 2019
instead or 2014 – 2019 to still capture a five year time period?

Please note, any clarification or amendment of a request is considered to
be a new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory
timeframe for response—see section 15(1AA) of the Act.

We look forward to hearing from you. Once we receive your clarification,
we will commence work on your request.

Kind Regards,

Ngâ mihi
