Dear Moana Wyatt,
The information I request was: "when with the leaks be repaired."
The leaks have not been repaired and therefore the information PCC has supplied is incorrect. Opposite No.44 Onepoto Road there is a puddle about 8m (long) by 0.3m (wide) by 0.15m (deep). I saw it this morning and this is despite there being no recent rain of any significance. The situation really hasn't changed since the leak was first reported in December 2020.
Perhaps Mr David Down needs to check the site himself and then he might be in a position to judge if the repairs have been carried out, and if not whether or not the contractors' invoice should be paid.
Yours sincerely,
Brian Warburton

Kia ora Brian,
I’ve followed up with Wellington Water and this was a different leak to
the others you have reported which, as outlined in our earlier information
to you, were fixed in February.
This latest leak was fixed on Monday.
Having spoken to the team at Wellington Water, it appears the pipeline
that serves the boatsheds is a Frankenstein of different materials
(galvanised steel, PVC, copper) which unfortunately lends itself to more
leaks from the joints and/or failing pipes.
Thanks for alerting us to these leaks which have identified the issues at
play there as well as enabling us to fix them more quickly.
