Dear Porirua City Council,

Please just post the documents on FYI.org.

I've had previous experience with OpenText Tempo Box and it's the most user-unfriendly software I have ever dealt with. None of my experiences with OpenText Tempo Box have been successful.

Why does PCC need to make it so complicated. Surely, just posting a web-link to a FileShare would be sufficient. In cases such as this the recipient should not have to create an account and log-in, etc.

In any case, the information should be available to the public via FYI.org. Availability should not be dependent on ones ability to follow the account creation etc instructions.

Yours faithfully,

Brian Warburton

Dear Porirua City Council,

Please provide the information requested and the format sought. The details are:
- request for information made by me on 2 March 2021;
- response by PCC dated 23 March 2021 indicating that the information was only available via some convoluted document management system (requiring usernames and passwords) PCC seems to insist on using;
- a subsequent request from me dated 26 March 2021 for the information to be provided in an easily accessible format and indicating I had previously had issues with accessing uploaded information via the Council's OpenText Tempo Box' system and did not want the information provided via that avenue;
- it is now 29 April 2021 and the information has not been provided; and,
- it is now more than 20 working days since my 26 March 2021 request and probably twice that since my original request.

Please attend to this immediately.

Yours faithfully,

Brian Warburton

Dear Porirua City Council,

Thanks Moana for the prompt response.

I was unaware of the new LGOIMA facility or that the councils response to my FYI.ORG request had been posted on PCCs website and not sent to me in the format sought.

A dedicated LGOIMA section on PCCs website is a good outcome of the Ombudsman's review, and from the feedback provided to the review by persons trying to access information.

I have the information requested now.

Regards

Brian Warburton
