I would like to request a copy of that report.
Additionally, if not documented in that report, I would like to request information held about the CovidCard device as trialed, and proposed specifications of a production model. Specifically, information surrounding its form factor and battery life.

Hello,
It has been 2 months since my request was acknowledged, over 2 weeks since its rejection, and a week since the promised publication date of the requested information.
The publication of the information has obviously been delayed. Are you able to update me with a new date when the information will be released?
Yours sincerely,
Chris Smith
From: Hannah Petrie Peter
Mōrena Chris,
Thank you for your email.
The current intention is that the document you requested will be included with the next general COVID proactive release.
At this stage this we anticipate the release to occur by the end of the week. However, the timing of this is not in the Department’s control.
We apologise for the shift in dates and will keep you updated.
If the general COVID release does not happen by this week, we will look to publish these documents separately and will notify you of our intent to do so.

Kia ora Chris,
This email is to inform you that the Department has today proactively
released documents related to CovidCard at
[1]www.dia.govt.nz/Proactive-Releases.
These non-ministerial documents were commissioned for the first phase of
the CovidCard programme and were produced between May and July 2020.
They report on the closed field trial of the technology carried out by
Otago University, further field testing and research completed by the
Public Private Partnership group (the PPP), and a review of the technology
underlying the CovidCard completed by the Defence Technology Agency (DTA).
The report you requested under the Official Information Act 1982,
Sustaining elimination with Covidcard and enhanced digital contact
tracing, is pages 56 – 92.
Thank you for your patience.
