Thank you for your requests of 22 July 2020 requesting the following information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
A copy of [the Covidcard] report. Additionally, if not documented in that report, I would 
like to request information held about the CovidCard device as trialled, and proposed 
specifications of a production model. Specifically, information surrounding its form 
factor and battery life. 
I am writing to extend the deadline for a decision on your request by 12 working days to  
4 September 2020. I am making this extension subject to section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, as the 
consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response 
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.  
I will, however, endeavour to provide you with my decision on the request prior to this date, 
if possible.  
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Act, to seek an investigation and review by the 
Ombudsman of this decision. Information on how to make a complaint is available at
