Digital Contact Tracing Usage Statistics - October 2021

Andrew Chen made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

The request was successful.

From: Andrew Chen

Dear Ministry of Health,
In Parliamentary Written Question 38175, the Minister for COVID-19 Response provided a table of Bluetooth key uploads and alerts generated between 17 August and 1 September 2021.

In OIA H202114061, the Ministry of Health provided updated data up to 1 October.

I would like to request an updated table that contains:
a) the number of Bluetooth key uploads and alerts generated
b) the number of QR code GLN uploads and alerts generated
c) the number of locations that NZ COVID Trace alerts were issued for

for each day between 1 October and 31 October 2021 please.

Yours faithfully,
Andrew Chen

I do not understand why this requires administrator attention. Seems to have been falsely flagged.

There was a comment removed from this thread. Why ?

Digital contact tracing is a danger to society as is being witnessed by current events in NZ and attempts to drive segregation and discrimination into all levels and facets of life.

Andrew Chen is a vocal and frequently quoted name in the NZ media with an enthusiasm for tacking and tracing human activity and the digital infrastructure which is providing public funding into private enterprise to deliver on.

Notifying of facts such as this information for others to be aware of is appropriate given the numerous requests made for the data sets by Andrew Chen.

Someone took issue with the post which included the words 'privacy and ethical' being used.

And the comment was removed after the post was reported.
