From: Alan Thompson
Dear Fire and Emergency New Zealand,
A large vegetation fire occurred on the 9th November 2019 up the Old Dunstan Road, Middlemarch (Event F2879264). Under the provisions of the Official Information Act can you please supply:
1. A copy of the Operational Review of this incident as published in July 2020.
2. You previously provided a summary of the costs for this fire (refer your response to my previous OIA Request dated 27 Feb 2020). In this response you advised that the Department of Conservation had not advised you re the costs at they had incurred with respect to this fire and further that a decision on the proportioning costs for the fire between the Dept of Conservation and FENZ had not been made (at that time). On the basis that this decision will by now have been made, I request an update to the Deep Creek/Old Dunstan Road Fire costs that includes a break down of the costs as apportioned between DOC and FENZ.
Yours faithfully,
