Dear Auckland Transport,
In light of the arising viral pandemic of Covoid-19.
What steps are being taken onboard AT Buses operating on public bus routes to prevent spreading of the infection on a community level.
Secondly please provide me with the a list of cabin air filter used within all Auckland Transport bus and train fleet, the age of filter and maintenance records. Further please comment on the grade of filtration achieved by these filters, by brand/type.
Lastly, please comment on the frequency of bacterial and hygiene testing done on trains and buses operating on the public network. Testing referring to the laboratory testing of swabs taken to ensure current cleaning practices are working to prevent the transmission of bacteria and virus'.
I hope AT is doing everything within its power to help prevent widespread infections among the community.
