Dear Ministry of Social Development,
Under the official information act i wish to know the following;
1. How many individual CYF cases have had a media ban placed on anyone releasing information regarding its contents. (not including, the release of children's identifying information.
2. Are media bans still commonly used in CYF related cases to stop families or those connected to case talking to the media.
3. Of the cases that have this media ban what were the reasons for this move by CYF to place such a ban.
