Hello Taylor

Would you please clarify if your question relates to streets in the city
of Hamilton?

Presuming the city is Hamilton, would you please confirm your request is
for any CCTV footage of Kahikatea Drive from the intersection of Kahikatea
Drive and Ohaupo Road to the intersection of Kahikatea Drive and Greenwood
Street?

Thank you

New Zealand Police

Good Morning Taylor,
I refer to your request for information made under the Official
Information Act 1982
You have asked for:
RE: CCTV footage between two intersections in Hamilton.
"I would like the CCTV footage from The Cross road lights by the hospital
right down Kahikatea to Greenwood street. From the 22.1.2017 at 11pm till
23.1.2017 at 7am ."
I have considered your request under the OIA 1982, and I can advise you of
the following;

* I can advise you that the Police are not the administrators or owners
of these  cameras that you refer to.
* Your request is more suited to be requested from the Hamilton City
Council.

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are
not satisfied with Police’s response to your request.
Kind regards
Kane Hunia
Sergeant

If the Police have decided that the "request is more suited to be requested from the Hamilton City Council" then they are obliged by the OIA to transfer it *themselves* to HCC. Worth putting yet another complaint to the Ombudsman.
