Request for information used to support the Wellington Bus Priority Plan

Tony Randle made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

The request was partially successful.

From: Tony Randle

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

I am interested in the Lets Get Wellington Moving Wellington Bus Priority Plan as presented to the Wellington City Council meeting on 12 December 2019 (https://wellington.govt.nz/~/media/your-...) and the Greater Wellington Regional Council Meeting on the same day. In particular, I am interested in understanding the key supporting information used in the Bus Priority Action Plan Draft for each of "the eight bus priority corridors" being:
* Karori to city
* Newtown to city
* Seatoun to city
* Mt Cook to city
* Kilbirnie to Newtown
* Kelburn to city
* Brooklyn to city
* Johnsonville to Ngauranga

The plan helpfully outlines a number of key sets of data in its description of each bus corridor, its issues (inbound and outbound) and opportunities. This includes:
a) Corridor traffic by mode of transport Vehicles (inbound 8am-9am)
b) Corridor traffic by mode of transport People in Vehicles (inbound 8am-9am)
c) Number of daily passengers
d) Sources of delay (Inbound)
e) Inbound journey times
f) Sources of delay (Outbound)
g) Outbound journey times

There are also two "Corridor Summary" Tables:
h) Corridor Summary Inbound
i) Corridor Summary Outbound

Can Let’s Get Wellington Moving please provide a copy of the supporting spreadsheet or spreadsheets used to create the information outlined as a) through i) for each of the eight bus corridors outlined in the Bus Priority Action Plan?

I assume this information is held in electronic form and it is preferred that the requested information be provided in its original and complete electronic format.

Yours faithfully,

Tony Randle

Dear Official Correspondence,

Thank you for your efforts to provide this very useful information.

LGWM notes that some hourly data has been withheld from the following sheets to protect privacy:
* Boardings
* Alightings
* Passengers on bus
To help complete the overall picture and compensate for the withheld data, can you also provide the overall row/daily total for each stop for the above sheets ?

Yours sincerely,

Tony Randle
