New Zealand Police
Good Morning,
I am currently preparing a response to your request for “any documents and
information relating to CRIS”.
Police hold a large volume of information relating to CRIS. This includes,
but is not limited to:
· Emails and meeting minutes relating to the establishment of
CRIS
· ICT records relating to the establishment and maintenance
of CRIS
· User manuals and other Standard Operating Procedures
relating to its use
· Reports of any temporary faults in the CRIS system
As your request currently stands it may be declined under s18(f) of the
Official Information Act 1982 due to its broad scope requiring substantial
collation and research.
If you could provide direction by specifying any particular areas you are
interested or not interested in then that would likely affect
consideration of whether the information is made available.
Kind regards
Nikki Anamani
District Manager Intelligence (Acting)
Communication Centres Intelligence Unit
