Please report all instances where NZTA's vehicles were speeding from 1st November 2018 to 30th June 2019

Robert Pines made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

The request was successful.

From: Robert Pines

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

On your website you publish a monthly summary of how many NZTA vehicles have been exceeding 100km/h. Your website states that your vehicles are fitted with GPS units recording speed data continuously.

Could you please provide :

- A report showing all instances where NZTA's vehicles have exceeded the posted speed limits (Over Speed Report) for the period from 1st November 2018 to 30th June 2019. To be clear; please include totals for all speeding instances (e.g. driving more than 50km/h in a 50km/h zone, exceeding speed in a 80km/h zone, etc).

- Information relating to what speed tolerance the NZTA applies for its own vehicles; what speed over the posted speed limit can a NZTA vehicle travel at before it's getting picked up by the over speed report?

Thank you for your help

Yours faithfully,

Robert Pines
