Dear Department of Building and Housing,

On 11 February it was revealed that the Minister of Building and
Housing had a conflict of interest in the construction industry. As
a result, he had "nstructed officials that [he] would not receive
papers on and would withdraw from discussions about heating and
ventilation because of [his] directorship of Holyoake Industries
Ltd" (TVNZ, "Williamson accused of conflict of interest on
Mainzeal", 11 Feb 2013). I would like to request the following
information under the OIA:

* has the Minister of Building and Housing received any advice from
the department on heating and ventilation issues since becoming
Minister?
* If so, copies of all the advice received. If this would require
substantial collation and research, then I am willing to settle for
a list of the titles of all papers received, and their dates.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about
this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the
fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.
